Rex prioritizes customer satisfaction above all.

Rex has been with Ninja Van for a year as a Shipper Operations Supervisor. He monitors the performance of each warehouse under their care. He also manages the day-to-day first-mile operations of certain warehouse areas. 

As he believes in prioritizing good customer service, he also focuses on building rapport between shippers and Ninja Van employees in the area he’s assigned in.

Why do you think your job is important: It’s important to keep shippers happy and that should reflect on the customer satisfaction scores. Simply prioritizing good customer service in an organization increases its revenue.

Chelle used to be an SCM Executive at Maersk Philippines and decided to join Ninja Van for 2 years and 6 months ago. She’s one of the team’s Shipper Operations Supervisors who provides solutions to every problem shippers encounter. 

She also manages warehouse operations in the areas assigned to her.

Why do you think your job is important: It is important to go above and beyond at every point, to delight our customers, and to get good feedback from them.

How do you push yourself to give your best every day at work and at home: I always make sure to give myself a reward for the little wins, as well as for the big ones.

Mel is always ready to break through challenges to assist our shippers.

Mel started his first full-time job at Ninja Van, and has been here for 4 years and 11 months. 

As the team’s Shipper Operations Supervisor, his role is focused on monitoring and improving the KPI of his assigned areas, keeping an eye on its operational costs, and efficiently handling escalations that may arise.

Why do you think your job is important: It’s important to see for yourself what you’re capable of and to see how you can handle challenges in operations and your clients’ needs. For this, I familiarize myself with the services and resources our shippers need so we can smoothly move their parcels.

How do you push yourself to give your best every day at work and at home: Motivating myself every time I wake up, telling myself that all this hard work and sacrifices will pay off.

Now, he helps collect, organize and analyze data from their team’s performance, as well as find solutions to provide shippers with a better quality of service.

Why do you think your job is important: It helps Ninja Van to identify which areas should be improved and what our shippers need that should be prioritized. This helps us become a better service provider to our customers.
