Likes \u2260 sales<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.ninjavan.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/01\/prateek-katyal-xv7-GlvBLFw-unsplash.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption><em>Image source: <a href=\"https:\/\/unsplash.com\/photos\/xv7-GlvBLFw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Unsplash<\/a><\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>From having a clear set of objectives\u2014as most entrepreneurs do when they enter into anything \u2014 it all gets muddled with fluff metrics when they go on social media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;These business-minded people start chasing fluff metrics \u2014 &#8216;I want a million people to like my post&#8217;. And they switch into becoming a celebrity of sorts \u2014 they want followers, they want likes. But at the end of the day, that does not convert into sales,&#8221; says Mandhyan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"2-different-platforms-different-faces\">2. Different platforms, different faces<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.ninjavan.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/01\/dole777-EQSPI11rf68-unsplash.jpg\" alt=\"social media strategy\"\/><figcaption><em>Image source: <a href=\"https:\/\/unsplash.com\/photos\/EQSPI11rf68\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Unsplash<\/a><\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Another common trap that many businesses fall into is the lack of consistency across different social media platforms. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram have different audiences, your brand must remain focused and consistent to your audience. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"navigating-social-media\">Navigating social media<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Social media can be a thick jungle for the inexperienced, where one could easily get lost. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But with the right focus and the right advice, your brand can swing through this jungle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By the way, here&#8217;s <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/blog.ninjavan.co\/en-ph\/beginner-guide-social-media-marketing\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"rank-math-link\">a beginner&#8217;s guide for social media newbies.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"1-bring-the-right-objectives-into-the-platform\">1. Bring the right objectives into the platform.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Evaluate the platform. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then determine how it can help you achieve your objectives. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cHow can this platform drive your specific business goals? Is it getting leads for your business? Getting people to test your product? Or is it sales? And then, bring it back into the platform and get the platform to do the work for you.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"2-build-recall\">2. Build recall. <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Ever noticed how the more established brands are very specific about <span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">that shade of red<\/span> or the font they use? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s how they create brand recall: by being consistent in almost every aspect of the brand. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cConsistency in tone, and the voice of your brand should be similar across all platforms.\u201d<\/p><p><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"3-go-beyond-your-follower-base\">3.
